We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller/Finance Manager to take charge of our financial department. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of multiple business units within a single legal entity. The department under their purview will handle corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the financial structure of the organization, including the professional development of two subordinates.
Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, credit control, and petty cash.
Supervise reporting cycles, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in alignment with both internal and external standards.
Manage and comply with local and national reporting requirements for tax filings.
Prepare and liaise with external and internal auditors and prepare year-end financial statements.
Implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Implement and adhere to Group internal controls.
Prepare budgets and financial forecasts and report on variances.
Manage cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and conduct variance analysis.
Implement cost accounting practices and automate processes in line with group best practices.
Collaborate with the general manager to implement robust profitability analysis by department, customer, and product.
Lead ERP system upgrade and recruit to fill anticipated staff and process gaps in preparation.

Votre profil
University degree in finance and accounting.
10+ years of experience in combined accounting and finance positions, including a minimum of 2 years in a documented managerial position.
Recognized accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent).
Experience in a production environment.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles (French GAAP and IFRS).
Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
Experience with creating financial statements.
Proficiency in IT skills.
ERP system implementation and maintenance literacy (Netsuite skills are an advantage).
Ability to work in a team and lead a team.
Good communication skills.
Fluent in both written and spoken English and French.
